George Salter has designed & built unique equipment to help solve skiers problems. Our well trained staff and owners are on the sales floor. These are options that no other shop can offer.
While you are on the equipment, we simulate your correct alignment, to determine if your skis are tracking properly. Each skis lateral angle (from side to side) is electronically measured within a tenth of a degree, next we make boot adjustments and wedge calculations. Wedges are installed between the binding and ski. We have eliminated the guess work. We don't just sell skis, we sell results.

In addition to the custom-tailoring and custom-repair service, we cater to all your needs. Bring in your old skis and bindings. We'll spruce them up, sharpen and wax them and adjust your bindings. If your demanding schedule means you can't come by the store to pick up your gear, we'll deliver it to your home or office - even the airport. If you know you'll be in a hurry, call ahead and schedule an appointment.

n because their bindings are improperly placed on their skis. Although manufacturers indicate the technical center on new skis with a printed hash mark, this standard mounting point can be off depending on your height, weight, boot size and model. Balancing establishes the precise binding location for you on your skis. Both beginners and experts claim quicker response, the ability to make more precise turns and have extra energy at the end of the day.
Wedging
A little plastic wedge can help you turn on a dime. If you've ever 
wondered why you turn better in one direction than the other. If your skis hook or cross, you may need to be wedged. Our unique skiers' simulator insures that your skis are tracking properly. We have the ability to evaluate you in the shop by simulating different skiing terrain, so you can execute smoother, more comfortable and precise turns.
